Margaret founded Momentum Grant Strategies in Austin, Texas in 1991 to provide a comprehensive and flexible array of services to help nonprofit organizations and small communities effectively navigate the grant proposal process, from the idea stage to the finished product. These services include:

Over the past two decades, Momentum Grant Strategies has secured more than $12.5 million in foundation and government grants to support a variety of community organizations working in the areas of rural development, historic preservation, conservation, human services, culture, health and education.

Momentum Grant Strategies has also conducted numerous grantsmanship trainings sponsored by both private and public organizations, including Texas Leadership Institute, the Writer’s League of Texas, the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Office of State-Federal Relations.

Margaret is a 1990 graduate of The Grantsmanship Center and earned a certificate in the management of nonprofit organizations at the the University of Texas at Austin’s LBJ School of Public Affairs in 1997.
